Reed International
Article Abstract:
Reed International is seeking a new chief executive and this has led to problems for the company. Reed was merged with Elsevier, and the group is managed as two businesses, though this could change when the boards of directors are unified. Reed could demerge its exhibitions business, and this could bring in 4 billion pounds sterling, as well as making a link with Wolters Kluwer more likely. The travel business could also improve its performance after restructuring.
