HCA-Hospital Corp of America
Article Abstract:
HCA-Hospital Corporation of America has 74 medical-surgical hospitals and 54 psychiatric establishments. Ten insiders disposed of more than 1.59 million shares from Oct to Dec 1992 at the $16.63 to $19.88 level. Most of these insider sellings occurred at the conservative end of the range. There were minimal insider sales noted when the price declined from the $23 area to the high teens but the significant volume of sales seen at the latter part of 1992 suggests caution.

The sales occurred amidst a year end price rise which boosted the stock from $26.25 in Oct 1992 to the present $34 level. Is is interesting to note that four of the six sellers were getting out of non-option related holdings. Therefore, caution is recommended for the stock.
