Corporate risk managers are facing pressure from chief financial officers, corporate attorneys and board members due to a series of financial scandals and the implementation of stricter corporate governance regulations demanding greater accountability. The negative trend like corporate mischief has helped risk managers gain the much sought after attention and also illuminated the need for a risk manager, sensitive to the inner working of the company.
