House members Rap DOD space acquisitions
Article Abstract:
The US House members have condemned the defense space acquisitions process, while the defenders of the process have mentioned improvements and have urged that Congress should maintain stability in its space program funding. The issue has become very critical as the spending has increased and the 2006 budget for national security space acquisitions have exceeded $20 billion, which might grow by about 40 percent by the year 2010.
