Oldsmobile has implemented a massive drive to rise above the reputation American car companies have for producing inferior products. Oldsmobile expects nearly one-third of its dealerships to enroll in its Service That Satisfies' 1984 incentive programs. Olds has been supervising various incentive programs for its independent dealer network for several years. Incentive programs have reinforced not only dealer profits, but total program credibility. Olds is also working on successfully completing product recall campaigns. The company uses outside vendor firms to administer the service incentive programs. The incentive program is designed to strengthen its reputation as a builder of quality American cars.
