How the business world views the World Wide Web
Article Abstract:
The World Wide Web must adopt better speed, security and availability to be considered a vital commercial connection. This was the major finding of two surveys conducted among senior management and marketing executives in the US and Web users. Both respondent groups feel that the ability to make secure transactions through the Web as well as its speed hinder its establishment as a business-to-business marketing tool. Where availability is concerned, Web browsers feel that only a few supplier sites are currently available while managers and marketers believe there is a lack of customer access.
