IMA finds a niche

With the irregularity of the IMA show schedule, selecting Nuremberg as the location resulted in many complaints; however, the quality of the visitors and the optimism of the exhibitors were positive. And having the Gauselmann Group as an anchor exhibitor is expected to improve the international appeal of the amusements and casino business show.

EELEX is still a young show in the gaming industry; however, two trends showed through this year that hinted at increased confidence. The Russian amusement industry began to move more from gaming to the coin-operated market; and gaming producers are also branching out into the amusement market with products such as darts, billiards and pool.

Greek show improving all the time: but debate over the number of visitors
Article Abstract:
The SEKEP Expo saw a reverse this year in attendance patterns; there were fewer visitors the first half of the show, with a substantial increase during the last half. The quality of these visitors, however, was a positive because there was increased interest in purchasing. Three unofficial records were broken at the show.
