Impact of warrant introductions on the behavior of underlying stocks: Australian evidence
Article Abstract:
A study examining the effect of first-time introduction of warrants on trading patterns of stocks that are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange is presented. The study focuses on price, liquidity and volatility of stocks. It is observed that warrant holders are generally unable to make profits from these warrants.
