Split decisions
Article Abstract:
Split capital investment trusts have different types of stocks and limited life spans. The stocks carry different risk levels according to type. There are three main types of income stocks, traditional income stocks, income and residual capital stocks, and annuity income stocks, the last offering higher income levels, though there is no guarantee that capital will be repaid after the trust has been wound up. Investors can also invest in funds with high proportions of split capital income stocks.
