Innovative Navy ships funding not a panacea: CRS
Article Abstract:
A new Congressional Research Service (CRS) report finds that there is no magic money to be unearthed in innovative financing schemes for Navy ships, although some alternative funding methods might provide marginal increase in ships purchasing power. Ronald O' Rourke, a specialist in national defense with CRS state that alternative financing stratagems might increase shipbuilding costs.
