Investors can choose to update share price charts by purchasing a subscription service,updating through teletex services or downloading through a modem from a proproetary shareprice database. Channel 4 has recently launched the Teletex 2000 service, although variablereception can make teletext downloading haphazard. Updating use a modem can be expensive,and Synergy Software operates an in-house share price database.
