Insider trading and pay-performance sensitivity: an empirical analysis
Article Abstract:
A study examining the extent to which managers are likely to resort to insider trading is presented. It is observed that managers who feel that their pay does not adequately reflect their performance are more likely to trade on private information that they have access to.
