Article Abstract:
Professional service firms make exporting decisions according to their ability to surmount problems associated with limited resources and to their propensity towards identifying external opportunities. It is also vital for the export growth in the services industry to develop optimistic views about exporting and instill a strong commitment towards it. The outlining of these determinants is in view of the fact that a survey of almost 700 consulting engineering firms reveals that while 90% are satisfied with their exporting programs, almost 75% of the firms are not into export as of yet.
