Investor beware
Article Abstract:
Ethics are essential in retail investment, yet few articles discuss them in relation to the retail investment sector. It is important for retail investors to be aware that there exists a framework of standards for ethical behavior and some of these standards relate to the competence and conduct of investment advisers and the companies that employ them. Retail investors also must be aware that the retail investment industry is well regulated and that the regulators of investment advisers are effective.
