J-UCAS unmanned craft passes line-of-sight test
Article Abstract:
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) plans to aim an Air Force project to develop new capability, through a multi-year effort called the Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems (J-UCAS). DARPA characterizes J-UCAS as a joint DARPA-Air Force-navy program to demonstrate the technical feasibility, military utility and the operational value of a networked system of high-performance, weaponized, unmanned air vehicles to effectively and affordably execute combat missions.

Attensity Corp. claims to have come up with a unique approach, in an increasingly broad marketplace of companies offering software to perform intelligence analysis.
