Keeping students off the streets
Article Abstract:
Unite is a developer of student accommodation and is based in Bristol, England. The market is strong with student numbers increasing in the United Kingdom. The properties are let to institutions rather than directly to students, and this eases concerns about unpaid rent. The company has also entered the market in London, for health professionals' accommodation as well as students. This has been carried out through a JV between Unite and The Peabody Trust.
