Keeping tabs on typing
Article Abstract:
A new text processing system called the 'Typing and Word Processing System' (TAWPS) was developed by HM Customs and Excise. TAWPS frees the typing managers from manual work, and generates reports based on different combined information including specific formats for special documents. The government and public sector as well as the British Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee have expressed interest in using this inexpensive system system for text processing.
