Brokers break new ground
Article Abstract:
Leeds and Bradford, England, offer a wider range of stockbroking services in 1997 compared with 1988. There are execution-only brokers such as Halifax Share Dealing, and private client brokers such as Redmayne-Bentley. The end of the London Stock Exchange in terms of a physical trading floor has helped the development of brokers elsewhere in England. Better access to investment research and improved communications have also helped brokers in these two cities.
