Loss-of-heterozygosity analysis of small-cell lung carcinomas using single-nucleotide polymorphism arrays
Article Abstract:
Human cancers result from a combination of discrete mutations and chromosomal alterations. A key event in the evolution of epithelial and meschymal tumors is the loss of heterozygosity (LOH) of chromosomal regionsbearing mutated tumor suppression genes.
