BAE unit wins U.K. MOD pact, shaping future procurement
Article Abstract:
A BAE research unit has won a contract from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) to study better and more effective ways of prosecuting maritime warfare. The MOD Research Acquisition Organization asked the BAE unit, the Center to Operational Research & Defence Analysis (CORDA), to lead delivery of the study that might help shaping MOD procurement decisions over coming decades.

BAE wins U.K. FRES program development pacts
Article Abstract:
The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded contracts for a Future Rapid Effect System (FRES) Chassis Concept Technology Demonstrator program (TDP) and a FRES Gap Crossing TDP to BAE Systems. It will provide the British Army a family of medium-weight, network-enabled, air-deployable armored vehicles to meet up to 16 battlespace roles.
