Chartered accountant Paul McCorquodale played a key role in the Australian national ice hockey team's bronze medal finish in the 'C-Pool' World Hockey Championships held in Hull, England. The expatriate Canadian began his quest for hockey stardom after being transferred to the Australian office of his employer, Coopers and Lybrand in 1989. There he joined the Monarch Saints Senior 'A' team and after receiving two most valuable player awards, was selected to join the national team.

The bingo haul
Article Abstract:
Ronald Herman Parks is renowned for solving some of the toughest scandals in the world of accounting. Parks' recent investigation of a scandal involving the misuse of bingo funds intented for charity by the Nanaimo Commonwealth Holding Society and others, was once again successful. Parks was immediately appointed by the minister of finance and corporate relations under BC's Society Act upon hearing the allegations.
