Mr Financial Adviser D.I.M
Article Abstract:
The UK financial services industry is regulated by the Personal Investment Authority (PIA) which is insisting on minimu qualifications for financial advisers. Qualifications vary according to specialization, with four main certificates in this field. Qualifications show that an adviser has learnt facts, but do not guarantee that good advice will be provided. Some financial advisers are not regulated by the PIA, including actuaries, solicitors and accountants.
