Article Abstract:
McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $236,732,183 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0146 to procure four FY 97 F/A-18C aircraft and four FY 97 F/A-18D aircraft and ancillary equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps. These aircraft were procured for the government of Thailand, but were never delivered and are now being converted for the Marine Corps. Work will be performed at St.Louis, Mo. (55%), Los Angeles, Calif. (35%), and El Segundo, Calif. (10%), and is expected to be completed in April 2000. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the ontracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $62,100,000 modification to previously awarded contract 00019-97-C-0136 to incrementally fund FY 98 low rate initial production (LRIP-III) of 14 F/A-18E, 16 F/A-18F aircraft and associated hardware. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (60%), and Hawthorne, Calif. (40%), and is expected to be completed in September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
