Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-4039 for the manufacture, testing and delivery of one production ship service turbine generator set for the new attack submarine. $33,100,000 is being placed today against the execution of a $66,300,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee letter contract modification. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed in March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
