Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin, Corp., Information Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded an $8,002,721 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0222 to exercise an option for six consolidated automated support systems (CASS) for the governments of Australia (three systems) and Kuwait (three systems) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. CASS is a suite of automated test equipment designed to diagnose and repair complex weapon system electronics. Work will be performed in Americus, Ga. (90%), and Orlando, Fla. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $17,340,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for 17 line items of components and supplies to upgrade the Maintenance and Repair Facility supporting the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile applicable to the F-4, F-5, and F-16 aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Korea. Expected contract completion date is November 2001. Solicitation issue date was Oct. 28, 1997. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 20, 1998.
