Logistics Services International, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded a $21,641,637 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the refinement and application of new and/or improved procedures for rotary wing aviation technical training. This contract includes cost-plus-fixed-fee term/completion delivery orders. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Fla. (70%); Patuxent River, Md. (10%); San Diego, Calif. (10%); Chesapeake, Va. (5%); and Lexington Park, Md. (5%), and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 51 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-99-D-1206).
