Article Abstract:
Quanta Systems Corporation, Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $5,426,189 combined cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed price with prospective redetermination, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract for engineering services in support of the Navy Regionalization Plan. The contractor will design and install systems incorporating DCX equipment that will take multiple electronic security systems and integrate them with one monitoring system. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (20%), Norfolk, Va. (20%), Pensacola, Fla. (20%), Honolulu, Hawaii (20%), and other locations throughout the United States (20%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two offers solicited and one proposal received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston is the contracting activity (N65236-98-D-7813).

Digital System Resources, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $26,752,693 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-6231 for the procurement of engineering services and support, materials, and spare and repair parts to design and build approximately 10 variant configurations of multipurpose processors. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (75%), Manassas, Va. (19%), and various other locations (6%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
