Netting out the costs of a phone call
Article Abstract:
In 2004, over nine million or 11 percent of the telephone lines in North American companies were run on Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), an increase of 4 percent over two years ago. By 2008, the number is estimated to soar by 41 percent to 34 million. The long-term savings gained by switching over to VOIP installation by companies, including the car manufacturing company Ford and accounting firm Grant Thornton, are discussed.
