Article Abstract:
Mountain View, CA-based Verisign redesigned its World Wide Web site to reflect changes in its business focus. The company, which sells personal encryption keys used in electronic commerce to decode messages, upgraded the site for the fourth time since it was launched in 1995. The project was made in-house under the direction of Michael Coleman, a veteran of the Internet Shopping Network. Some of Verisign's major clients include Microsoft Corp, Netscape Communications Corp and the IRS.
