Northrop nets more biosensor work
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Corporation received a contract to advance development of a new biological sensor, with the prospect of prototyping contract to follow. The contract is the third contract in a series of four expected contracts and the biological sensor to be developed by Grumman would be a hand held device known as isothermal silver standard sensor, which would be capable of identifying biological warfare agents like bacteria, toxins and virus.

B-2 moves toward getting 'AESA' radar
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Corporation's B-2 bomber continues to evolve and the company will be testing Raytheon Company's APQ-181 model radars, the active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar antennas, for the stealth aircraft. The faster and more reliable APQ-181 will be replacing the B-2's mechanically scanned antennas and it features are expected to penetrate the most sophisticated air defenses.

Northrop sees safe flying for weather satellite program

Northrop Grumman Corp. sees that the satellite system, monitoring the Earth's climate and weather patterns is safe from congressional budget cuts, as it will provide vital defense and other wide range of space programs.
