Northrop starts next J-UCAS drone model
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Corp.'s announcement that it has begun construction of a new model in the series of unmanned aircraft put the complex multi-service demonstration program known as Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems (J-UCAS) a step forward. That model called X-47B, would become the world's first unmanned surveillance attack aircraft that can operate from both land bases and aircraft carriers.

Fire Scout UAV demos again impresses Army
Article Abstract:
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which is a test version of the Fire Scout, built by Northrop Grumman Corp., has performed very well in a set of demonstrations for a military audience. The MQ-8 Fire Scout will be the largest UAV in the Army's network of manned and unmanned air vehicles that work together to perform a variety of functions on the battlefield.
