Molecular diagnostics businesses that bring technological advantages like sensitivity, speed and selectivity, needs to do a better job of educating physicians and payers regarding the utility of their tests. Companies who look for creating a profitable diagnostic business, would have to bypass entrenched market players and circumvent the testing laboratories and follow a proselytizing mission in order to convert physicians to their platforms.
