Offer pricing of Australian industrial initial public offers
Article Abstract:
A study on the method of determining the offer prices for initial public offerings (IPOs) of Australian industries that come with fixed price offers is presented. This method differs from the US setting method where prices are influenced by market demand. Consequently, the Australian industrial IPOs tend to be underpriced.
