Ogilvy PR gets $5.4M HCFA pact

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has been awarded a $5.4-million contract by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA). According to Tom Beall, Managing Dir of Ogilvy's global health and medical practice, the company will expand HCFA's outreach to educate the people it serves and help them make wise decision about healthcare. Ogilvy will create media and marketing campaigns for Medicare, Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Also, the firm will evaluate the effectiveness of HCFA's consumer education materials.

Omnicom gets $1.8B Chrysler account; TN says it was misled
Article Abstract:
Omnicom Group Inc's units in Nov 2000 were awarded Chrysler Group's $1.8- billion creative and media accounts, beating out True North for the business. Around $140 million of the revenues had been at TN, representing around 9% of the firm's total revenues and about 15% of its earnings. In addition to the corporate account, products involved are Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Plymouth cars, trucks and other vehicles. Omnicom's will create a new unit dubbed 'PentaMark Worldwide' to handle the account.
