On the trail of digital prints
Article Abstract:
Digital cameras are easy to use and, unlike conventional cameras, enable the photographer to preview the images. Expensive digital cameras doproduce sharp images but are considerably beyond the reach of the average consumer. Modestly priced digital cameras may produce good images on the computer screen but do not have good resolution when transferred to a laser printer or when printed conventionally. This is demonstrated in the experience of an anonymous consumer who tested her new digital camera at her nephew's wedding.
