BGR plans a demerger of QuadraNet, which should benefit the company. QuadraNet was acquired in Feb 1999 and was previously called Crestport. Crestport develops restaurant bookings software, and is valued at 22 million pounds sterling, rising to 26 million pounds after a stock floation, while BGR paid some 557,000 for the company. Meanwhile, BGR's Fish! restaurants have been successful, and are to be expanded from two to eight by year-end 2000. BGR could achieve a profit of 3.25 million pounds sterling for 2000, rising to 4.4 million pounds for 2001, according to Collins Stewart.
