Overcoming resistance to change
Article Abstract:
Many companies believe that initiating changes in management and production are essential in increasing global competitiveness. However, corporate managers often find it difficult to convince stockholders and employees to become receptive to change. Management should carefully analyze their corporate cultures to develop changes that are more acceptable to both employees and stockholders. Other tips on how to reduce resistance to institutionalizing changes in the corporate structure are discussed.
