Paths to entrepreneurship in the life sciences
Article Abstract:
Biotech companies are founded by either scientists who are entrepreneurs, called as technoentrepreneurs or by inspired entrepreneurs who may not be brilliant researchers but can perceive the needs of the market called as market perceivers. For a biotech start-up company to be successful, it is necessary to build a team of people who will bring together all the aspects of the technoentrepreneur and the market perceiver.
