There is a large number of companies involved in information technology services in the United Kingdom, and this means that it is difficult to assess which companies will perform well. Outsourcing has moved into a new phase where companies seek a wider range of services such as call-center management and administrative processing, and not just technology and systems. Larger companies are likely to do well, and there are a number of factors boosting demand, such as European monetary union.
