Plynostav profits from foreign contracts
Article Abstract:
Plynostav (Pardubice, Czech Republic), holding construction firm, saw a net profit of CEK 40.5 mil in 2000 compared to CEK 12.5 mil in 1999. The firm's proceeds totalled CEK 581.4 mil in 2000, CEK 14 mil less compared to 1999. About 70% of the company's proceeds come from international contracts. In 2000 Plynostav's largest project was the construction of a gas-pipeline with a length of 200 km in Kamchatka, Russia.

IPS will change employee shares

IPS (Prague, Czech Republic), the largest Czech construction firm, saw a net profit of CEK 205.2 mil in 2000, CEK 39 mil less compared to 1999. The firm will not pay dividends for 2000. IPS will change employee shares to basic shares to owner. The step will concern 50,000 securities with a nominal value of CEK 100.
