Griffith-Jones set for top KPMG slot
Article Abstract:
John Griffith-Jones is set to take over the top slot at KPMG in the UK, with the backing from at least 75% of KPMG's 560 partners, and though the board had considered a shortlist of candidates, it finally decided that Jones would be the only name on the ballot paper. Griffith-Jones, aged 51, was head of the firm's corporate finance group before becoming chief executive in 2002, and will become the senior partner when Mike Rake steps down at the end of September 2006.
