PowerGen post Lang
Article Abstract:
PowerGen saw a drop in its share price following an announcement by Ian Lang, UK trade secretary, that the company would not be permitted to acquire Midlands Electricity. Panmure Gordon argues that PowerGen shares are cheap, Morgan Stanley emphasises PowerGen's strong cash flow, and Williams de Broe is also a buyer. Three brokers rate the shares a hold, and they are Societe Generale Strauss Turnbull, Charterhouse Tilney, and Yamaichi.
