Future trends and issues facing the accountancy profession are explored to confirm that practices of all sizes are operating in a climate of intense pressure and many face chronic skills shortages. It strengthened the fact that many practices face daunting challenges to progressing their development however the best way to overcome these is with effective growth strategies and service expansion.

Billion pound boost for Top 60 firms

The Accountancy survey report of the Top 60 Accountancy firms of UK for the year 2006,is presented.The report points to a significant 14% increase in the combined fee income of the UK's 60 largest firms, over the year, which far outstrips the 4.8% reported in the survey of 2005.
