ProBio uses video to promote cloning breakthrough
Article Abstract:
Noona/Russo Communications (N/RC) and Medialink were responsible for publicizing ProBio America's success in the first reproducible cloning of a mammal from adult cells using mice. The experiment, which yielded three generations plus more than 50 identical cloned mice, could lead to new treatments of diseases such as cancer, AIDS, diabetes as well as multiple sclerosis. A video news release featuring ABC's reporter Peter Jennings was made by N/RC given the constraints of a limited budget. Medialink distributed and edited the raw video footages of the experiment that was shot by N/RC. A total of 484 registered airings was viewed by an estimated 112 million people in the US alone.

Emergency morning after kit proves big hit with media
Article Abstract:
Medisphere Communications provided a comprehensive media campaign for Gynetics Inc.'s emergency contraceptive kit called 'Preven' including the distribution of a press kit to the media. As part of an integrated marketing approach, Mediasphere involved NewYork-based video firm CMG Productions to produce a live satellite media tour which features Harvard UCLA Medical Center's Dr. Anita Nelson discussing the newly FDA-approved contraceptive. The Preven account was won by Medisphere, a unit of Nelson Communications, in 1997. The Preven kit, which costs $20, is non-abortive but prevents the ovulation leading to pregnancy.
