PwC stretches its lead

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the UK's largest accountancy firm, reported 12% growth in turnover to 1.78 billion in its latest annual results. PwC chairman Kieran Poynter feels that the firm has established a whole new set of client relationships and attributes its success largely to regulatory demands of Sarbanes-Oxley and International Financial Reporting Standard that brought in the firm an extra 100 million pounds over the previous year.
