RAP: it's a steal
Article Abstract:
RAP is a UK distributor of safety products and industrial equipment which acquired Welpac, a screws and fasteners concern, in summer 1995. The company aims to reduce costs by up to 2 million pounds sterling, but interest payments and other costs will arise from the Welpac acquisition, affecting the company's 1995 profit. Williams de Broe forecasts a profit of some 1.73 million pounds sterling for 1995, but this could rise to 3 million pounds for 1996 if Welpac performs well.
