Rand study opposes hasty moves on intel director, center
Article Abstract:
The study conducted by Rand Corp. reveals that although political leaders might appear decisive, aimed at countering and defeating terrorism in the wake of the September 11, 2001, attacks, they believe that they will advice measures to be adopted for the current structure of U.S. intelligence gathering. They are of the view that heads should not take hasty decisions resulting opposite effect, thus weakening the ability of American intelligence efforts.
