Raven Industries Inc disclosed that its 3rd qtr Oct 1992 profits would increase by at least 10%. Wall Street's earnings projections of $1.27 and $1.40 for FY 1993 and 1994 would also represent the seventh and sixth consecutive years of rising earnings. Pres and CEO David Christensen is bullish about the stock as shown by the stock split, the 12.5% dividend increase and the modest 10% debt to capital ratio. Dir Kevin Kirby acquired 16,000 shares last Sep 14, 1992 in support of Christensen's views. Raven pays a 45-cent dividend on the 4.2 million post-split shares.

Pier pilings, retaining walls and pontoons have increasingly been used as habitats by marine species. Although significantly different from natural rocky reefs, such urban structures have attracted many subtidal organisms.
