Article Abstract:
Leo Kelly, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and his son Deryl, set out to be the first father-and-son team in North America to reach the peak of Mount Everest. Leo Kelly made it past the 17,000 feet above sea level milestone, however, had to make the disappointing choice to turn back and let his son continue on alone. The climb was dedicated to raising awareness of the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Measuring social responsibility
Article Abstract:
Financial accounting is the practice of protecting the investments of a corporation, which is its fiduciary, or entrusted responsibility. Measuring the value of the business in terms of quality and performance leads to fiduciary responsibility to the investors, however building the community and serving society is the way to reach success.
