Remuneration, retention, and reputation incentives for outside directors
Article Abstract:
A study examining the types of incentives that are given to outside directors who are appointed on boards of directors of Fortune 500 firms is presented. These incentives are given to outside directors in anticipation of improvement in value of the firm based on reputation of outside directors.

The Statistical and Economic Role of Jumps in Continuous-Time Interest Rate Models
Article Abstract:
A nonparametric jump-diffusion model is presented. Jump time and size estimates suggest that unanticipated macroeconomic information generates jumps. Jumps play an important role in pricing interest rate options, but overall have only a small impact on yields.
